  • Oh hey! Yeah that's still us! We've evolved SO far past face painting and offer so many other services now that we rebranded & changed our name officially back in 2020

    Far too often we would arrive at an event to face paint and see someone else was there balloon twisting and installing a balloon arch, and we’d have to tell the client “Hey so - you know, we could have done that too, and saved you time by not having to coordinate all of these other vendors, and paying all of their fees, and we would have given you a really sweet deal for using us for all of the services”

    “What!? I had no idea! Your name just said ‘Face Painting’ in it so I assumed you didn’t do anything with balloons”

    ….but there were more…. Places to click on the website….it said… balloon twisting right at the top… but okay!”

  • No (sorry) but we are asked that a lot - but this is what the whole robot thing is all about:

    We are told time and time again how quick and efficient we move when we’re working for our clients at an event.

    When you work with us: you get the luxury Jetson treatment

    and just like the Jetsons: it’s like you’ve hired actual robots to complete these tasks for you

    That’s a pretty big deal: not everyone has a robot to complete their tasks

    Also my (Me, hi, Nikki) last name is skrobot (which sounds exactly how it’s spelled: skuh-Robot)

  • Families sometimes love us so much that they book us years in advance for their child's bat mitzvah or sweet 16, even holding dates for future events like graduation parties—this has happened more than once.

    Occasionally, we may have availability on very short notice, with about 72 hours to spare.

    There is a celebration every day of the week, and while we might be hired for it or not, I advise against hesitating. A date could be available when you go to bed at 9:00, but someone might reserve it at 3 a.m. with a $250 deposit before you wake up.

    Last-minute bookings may incur rush fees as well.

  • Nikki & Thomas are in the Rockin’ Robot HQ in West Bloomfield, Michigan very close to the borders of Commerce, Waterford, and Keego Harbor

    That doesn’t mean we won’t leave the area: we started our business in Ann Arbor and have quite a client base in that region, and spent some time living in Royal Oak as well where we have a lot of clients too

  • We will go anywhere you want us to go, honestly

    We can cover a large radius in Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan and we often travel to events all over West Bloomfield, Detroit, Novi, Brighton, Flint, Ann Arbor, Commerce, Milford, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, White Lake, Highland, Hartland, Howell, Ypsilanti, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Waterford, Lansing, Fowlerville, and anywhere else in between.

    We have also traveled to Seattle, North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin to do balloon installations: If you aren't sure please schedule a consultation call!

  • A retainer is due to hold your date and then an agreement with our order details and invoice will need to be signed to finalize. Your event will not be on our calendar until both payment and agreement are received.

  • Our invoicing system is all completed online and accepts all cards

    Your retainer is due at the time of reservation

    Final payment is typically 60 or 30 days prior to your event date

  • The outpour of love from clients and even random strangers who want to show us love when at an event is astounding! People will ask how they can buy us a coffee because of how hard they see us working touches our hearts!

    Client or stranger: You can tip us on your invoice before completing your final payments, or via venmo @rockinrobotpartyco or on cashapp $rockinrobotpartyco

    Usually we use tips to buy coffee or food after a job well done!
